Linna Yamazaki

Occupation: Clerk
Team role: Close combat specialist
Perhaps at times a little silly and naive, but an attractive, caring and loveable person, able to tolerate even the intolerable, who wishes to make the most of her life. Linna's a country girl at heart, which seems to make her a prime target for Priss's word games, but Linna's not one to take crap from anyone. She never looks before she leaps though, and will often shoot her mouth off in the defence of not only herself, but others too, regardless of the outcome.

Linna's extremely determined in whatever task she sets her mind to, she sets the bar very high for herself and is her own worst critic. She's also for the most part very confident too, most likely this confidence in her abilities came from her days as a track 'n field athlete. Her athletic background also explains her reluctance to stick out her current job as a clerk working for a company in the Boomer industry.

Linna's a physical hands on kind of girl, if she's stuck in one place for too long performing mundane tasks then her mind will start to drift. She craves a challenging life of action, and if nothing else just wants to be able to help those people unable, or unwilling, to stick up for themselves.

Sylia Stingray

Occupation: Entrepreneur
Team role: Team leader
Founder of the Knight Sabers organisation and daughter to the brilliant Dr. Katsuhito Stingray, creator of the 'Boomer', Sylia lives alone, occasionally her younger brother Mackey drops in, what with the loss of her parents by the age of 12. Sylia lives a life of luxury through the success of her numerous businesses ventures, in particular her 'Silky Doll' fashion store, and due to the huge financial empire she inherited upon the death of her father.

Though she puts on a pleasant face in public, Sylia has a tendency to suddenly flare up in anger and has built up years of disgust towards GENOM in side of her. Sylia clearly lives in a fragile emotional world on the brink of total collapse, though she does have the girls, Henderson her long-term carer/butler and a little remaining self-control to help keep herself focused and on track. Despite this kind of emotional support, however, Sylia is often seen taking medication, no doubt in an effort to control her sudden emotional out bursts.

All this aside though, Sylia is a fairly competent leader, it's rare for her to make rash judgment calls. Having made one or two bad calls in the past, Sylia has had to learn from her mistakes and come to recognise the fact that she is solely responsible for the safety of the team. As a result Sylia can be extremely blunt with her orders, unwilling to argue them during the thick of it, which at times, despite her sexy appearance, makes her out to be a cold heartless monster.

Although Sylia usually takes a back seat during Boomer confrontations, she is actually a skilled fighter and can be relied upon for strong backup. Though Sylia's skills are best put to use when lining up jobs for the team, devising attack strategies and issuing orders in the field. Sylia is also romantically involved with Nigel, though their feelings for one another are no where near as clear cut as would normally be expected.

Priscilla S. Asagiri

Occupation: Singer
Team role: Assault specialist
There are no wings on Priss's back, when she signed up with the team it was for the money and the risk, Priss is a thrill-seeker and thrives upon living life on a knife-edge. Though this doesn't mean to say she's reckless, Priss sees herself as a bit of a professional and so finds it hard to work along side the less able members of the team.

Priss is the lead singer in an up and coming rock band, she isn't one for the lime light though, she and her band are quite happy touring the local clubs playing live to the so called dregs of society. In fact the band have since settled at the Hot Legs night-club, apparently both Priss and the rest of the band members have taken a liking to the place. She puts a lot of soul and effort into her music and, although chooses to vent a lot of her built up aggression through rock music, has an extremely powerful voice.

Unfortunately Priss isn't really all that communicable, this is made even worse due to her nasty habit of blanking people when really unimpressed with the person standing opposite. Despite Priss's antisocial behavior though, both she and Linna get along remarkably well, so much so in fact that Priss helped worm Linna into the team in the first place.

Priss also has a passion for fast machines, in particular motorbikes, she loves nothing more than burning up the freeway pushing both herself and her bike to the limit leaving the hapless highway patrol to eat her dust. It's almost as if Priss was born to ride, it's hard to see Priss biting the bullet during a mission, no doubt when the time comes she'll go out whilst clocking over 140mph.

Nene Romanova

Occupation: AD police operator
Team role: Electronic warfare specialist
Nene spends all together far to much time in front of computers, her apartment looks like an electronic junk yard. On the net she's probably best avoided, but in reality she's a cute little girl desperately trying to escape the daddy's little spoilt daughter stereotype. She doesn't seem to have much luck in establishing herself as an attractive independent young woman, instead Nene is constantly teased because of her young age.

Although not the strongest fighter in the team, what she lacks in skilful destructive aggression she makes up for in intellect, according to her at least. Nene does actually have the making of a first rate close combatant, but it just seems like that last slice of cake's holding her back. Nene loves her munches though, it's unlikely that she'll ever trade in snacks for athleticism.

Despite being put down by Priss time and time again though, Nene's not the type to bear grudges, besides as far as she's concerned if you can't kick the crap out of the rogue Boomer standing opposite, then simply fry its brain using a computer.

Whilst Nene gets along well with Linna, she does so even more with Mackey, though in a more playful, childlike and bashful manor. Nene especially enjoys keeping Mackey hanging on to her every word with slightly exaggerated stories of her past hacking exploits.

Nigel Kirkland

Occupation: Boomer engineer / mechanic
Team role: Senior engineer
It's likely that without Nigel's expert mechanical assistance the team, or to be more precise the team's hard suites, would quite literally fall apart. Unmatched in his field and with a passion for machines, Nigel is the real source of drive behind the team's exploits.

All this aside though, Nigel isn't really all that much of a people person, preferring instead to be left alone to get on with the job at hand. This said, however, Nigel sees himself as Mackey's personal mentor instructing the prodigal boy genius in the machine arts. This father son relationship most likely exists due to Nigel's involvement in the project which spawned Mackey over seven years ago.

Nigel also has a complicated relationship, due to his inability to express his feelings, with Sylia, though one of passion.

Mackey Stingray

Occupation: Student
Team role: Junior engineer
It could be said that Mackey is a mystery of two conundrums of a riddle of another mystery...for Mackey isn't quite human, and whilst he may look quite young, he is in fact much older.

The warped truth of it all is that Sylia's father saw fit to experiment with the brains of that of his wife and daughter in his attempt to create a new life-form. Although ultimately successful, only Sylia survived the experiments and in doing so effectively gave birth to her younger brother Mackey, for Mackey was born as a result of Dr. Katsuhito Stingray's successful attempt to duplicate human consciousness. Whilst Mackey isn't human, he isn't exactly machine either, he is fully sentient and as a result is almost indistinguishable from actual human beings. The only give away is Mackey's eternal youth, both a blessing and a curse.

Since Mackey has no real need for those drawn out teaching methods employed by the education system, what with his advanced electronic brain 'n all, Mackey spends his spare time contributing to the team in anyway he can. As a result Mackey can often found aiding Nigel with hard suit upgrades and, more frequently than would be desired, repair work. When he's not busy maintaining the team's hard suites, however, Mackey spends his time tinkering with machines as well as acquiring hacking tips from Nene in his on going quest for that all elusive first kiss.
