Stand Alone Complex
Stand Alone Complex is the new Ghost in the Shell series from production IG, it is currently screening in the US, and in a rescent press release Manga Entertainment announced a joint distribution deal with Bandai, which should result in a WORLDWIDE (except asia) DVD release begining June/July 2004. Though the style varies from that of the film (mainly due to the fact that the visuals for the series are based on origional Shirow artworks) it is superbly animated (I have seen several trailers), and a must buy as soon as it is available.
